Two Nigerian women have been arrested on drug charges in India.

Two Nigerian women, Adaze Jaye, 43, and Lagantius Success Chamika, 23, were detained by police in Pushkar after they were arrested in India with 65 grams of mefstone.

A total of 65 grams of methamphetamine, 65,000 Indian rupees and a digital radio device were seized from them, First India reported on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

The value of the seized drugs was also estimated to be around INR 600,000. Superintendent of Police Rakesh Yadav said the police have registered a case against the two under the NDPS Act and have started investigation.

Yadav added that senior officials and the control room have also been informed.
